Beer Bratwurst with Sauerkraut and Cheese Sauce

Cooking Beer Bratwursts

I love these Beer Bratwursts or Beer Brats!  Seriously, this is something that is welcome at my barbecue any day of the week!  They’re fun and delicious, so I never get any complaints.  The Bratwursts themselves are first boiled in beer before they are taken to the grill, and then I make the cheese sauce out of the leftover Beer from the boil.  The Sauerkraut is the Bavarian Style of making Kraut and it tops these Brats off perfectly.  So you’re looking at a Beer Brat that has been boiled in beer, grilled, then topped off with a Beer Cheese sauce and Sauerkraut.  Doesn’t that look Delicious!

And just so you know, I make the world’s best Onion Rings and Sweet Potato fries and I’ve got the links and recipes below!

Beer Batter – Fish Fry, Onion Rings and Fried Mushrooms

Beer Batter

Simple Beer Batter

This is a Great way to make your Beer Batter.  And, considering that there’s only two ingredients, it doesn’t get much easier either.  Not to mention it tastes fantastic.  But the thing about this Beer Batter recipe is it can be used for a Fish Fry with Cod or Halibut as well as Onion Rings or Fried Mushrooms, it’s that good.  In the video below I demonstrate this recipe with a Cod Fillet.  I do this because fish can often be the most finicky to fry if you don’t know what you’re doing.  But with these simple steps you can fry like a pro.  Just make sure your oil is up to temp and you’ll be good to go!
