Pumpkin Pie Milkshake

Pumpkin Pie Milk Shake

The Best Pumpkin Pie Milk Shake

If you love Pumpkin Pie and you love Milk Shakes, then this Pumpkin Pie Milk Shake is you’re new go to recipe because it’s incredibly easy and delicious.  It’s typically a seasonal ice cream shake that is advertised and sold, in restaurants everywhere, based on the ripening of Pumpkins in the Fall.  Even Weiner Schnitzel has had it on their Menu for years and they taste great.  But, we don’t want to buy their’s, we want to make our own and it’s really easy to do so.

Pumpkin Pie Milk Shake

After all, it is a Pumpkin Pie Milk Shake

To make this Pumpkin Pie Milk Shake, I don’t care if you like to cook down your own pumpkin or if you like to buy it in a can.  You’re still going to need the other basic Pumpkin Pie ingredients to pull off this shake, if you’re making it from scratch.  There is, however, a simple cheat that I introduce in the video.  If you already have a premade pie or have some left over from your Thanksgiving holiday this year, you can add that to the Ice Cream, instead of just the pie filling, and it will still turn out great.  You’ll even get the added bonus of that Cookie Crust blended in with it.  If you think that sounds crazy, just think about a Cookies and Cream Milk Shake for just a moment and let that sink in.

Pumpkin Pie Milk Shake Ingredients:

1 qt Ice Cream
1 cup Milk
1 cup Pumpkin Pie Filling or 8 to 10 oz pumpkin pie slice

Pumpkin Pie Filling Ingredients:

2 lbs Cooked Pumpkin
2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
1 tsp Ground Ginger
1/2 tsp Ground Clove
1 tsp Salt

Eggs are optional. I don’t add them personally, because I’m not baking, but it wouldn’t hurt the milk shake and it would even add more flavor. Just think Egg Nog.  So if you want to add them, the recipe calls for 3.  Just watch the short video tutorial for this Pumpkin Pie Milk Shake and I’ll show you how easy this is to make.

Sweet Potato Casserole – Southern Style with Marshmallow and Walnuts

The Best Sweet Potato Casserole

This is, hands down, the absolute best Sweet Potato Casserole I have ever had, I swear!  And if that’s not enough of a selling point, I’m talking about Butter, Sugar, Cinnamon, Marshmallows and an awesome Walnut Crisp Crunch on top.  This is a classic Southern recipe that can be served for any dinner; especially Thanksgiving.  But this dish is so fresh and sweet you could top this off with some Vanilla Bean Ice Cream and serve it for dessert, it’s that good.

How I like my Sweet Potato Casserole

I’ve mixed the ideas of several different Sweet Potato recipes to develop this dish.  I love the traditional way my Grandmother always made it; sliced with toasted marshmallows over the top.  But, I also love the Southern style with a Walnut Apple pie style crisp or with Pecans, if you prefer.  Either way is delicious but when you combine the two, you end up with a symphony of flavors that just dance around your mouth with every bite.

Beef Stew Recipe – Carrots, Potatoes, Parsnips and Steak

The Best Beef Stew

When I think of Beef Stew, I’m reminded of those Sunday afternoon dinners my family would have after several hours of church.  The only problem was that any stew that my Mom made wasn’t very good because it was always runny, watered down and flavorless.  So when I set out to make Beef Stew for my own family now, I follow one simple rule; make it better than Mom’s recipe(which isn’t hard to do BTW).  But don’t let this sob story fool you.  This recipe is amazing and I even show you how to cheat!

How do I make Beef Stew

All I do is cook a thick hearty soup with fresh chopped vegetables from my garden and I add a well seasoned steak.  Then I add a few seasonings.  That’s it and that’s all.  Now I do cheat a little when I don’t have time to make my own Chicken and Brown gravy.  But after you try this Beef Stew recipe you’ll quickly understand why I do it.  Packaged gravy is cheap, it saves time preparing it and it makes this soup taste phenomenal!
